Born 1943 in Montagny near Yverdon in the french part of Switzerland, Phil Henny was trained as a precision mechanic at Paillard-Bolex, the well know Swiss movie camera compagny.
From an early age his interest in automobile racing and his determination to be associated with the best teams, lead him to be part of the Shelby American crew who built the famous Ford MKIV which won the "24 Hours of Le mans" in 1967.
In the seventies, Phil contributed to the manufacturing and introduction of the dry-sump oiling system for NASCAR!
Phil lives in Portland, Oregon U.S.A.
